All those people who have studied the psycho linguistic growth of a child are aware
of the fact that language and cognitive progress are closely associated.
Researchers checked children who
got education in their mother tongue and those also whose medium of learning is
a language is unfamiliar to them. They found that the first group have better
understanding of teaching and have better verbal skills compared with the
second group.
English should be used as a
Medium of Instruction in Higher Education in India because in the globalized
world, it is necessary for our graduates to understand this language for a number
